Odonteus liebecki - female

Odonteus liebecki - Female
7 km east of Paw Paw, 39.5230, -78.3632, Morgan County, West Virginia, USA
August 2, 2012
Size: 8 mm
Crawling through leaf litter in wooded ravine at night. Found alongside Geotrupes ulkei (see), but the Odonteus seemed to be less common here. Unlike G. ulkei, O. liebecki can fly, and rarely I would see them come to light near this same location.
