AZ-NM, Mexico; the nominate subspecies in se.AZ and extreme sw.NM into Mexico, G. c. sundbergi is only known from Doña Aña Co., NM(1)
Habitat
found primarily in mesquite grassland habitats along the ecotone with Mexican oak woodland habitats(1)
