Hydrophilidae - Phaenonotum exstriatum
Medford, (~25 miles east of Philadelphia, PA) Burlington County, New Jersey, USA

Size: ~2.7mm
Phaenonotum exstriatum, only member of the genus found in the northeast. Convex little bugger - makes these dorsal shots like imaging the tip of a ball point pen.
