Stink Bugs mating - Thyanta pallidovirens - male - female

Stink Bugs mating - Thyanta pallidovirens - Male Female
Elkton, Douglas County, Oregon, USA
July 29, 2008
Size: 1/2 inch +/-
I found a similarly colored stink bug in the guide. It was called a Red-shouldered Stink Bug - Thyanta pallidovirens. The image didn't say if it was male or female.

I don't know if my guess for ID is correct, but I would say that these two are boyfriend and girlfriend. As for which is which, I forgot to ask them.
