Aphid

Aphid
Sand Springs, Osage County, Oklahoma, USA
December 6, 2008
Size: 3mm (1/8")
I first thought this was an aphid but in looking at the third pic it has a fairly vicious looking proboscis. Aphids don't have this....do they?
Also note the gold metallic coloring.

By the way, it has got caught up in some web in the container from a spider I had detained the other day....I thought I had cleaned out good enough....apparently not.

Please help with ID.
