Moth - Stamnodes

Moth - Stamnodes
Santiago Oaks Regional Park, Orange County, California, USA
December 7, 2008
Size: 1-2cm
Skittish. Attracted to light. Held wings folded above body rather than splayed against wall.

Moved to Stamnodes
Moved from Moths.

If I got it right and this is in fact a Geometer, it is probably Stamnodes and S. blackmorei seems to be the most likely candidate.
