Small Dark Brown Bug with Tan Stripes

Small Dark Brown Bug with Tan Stripes
Maryland, USA
April 12, 2025
Size: 6mm
I'm not sure if it's a dehydrated bed bug or something else entriely. I've looked at alot of similar bugs and the carpet beetle looks like the closest match but not the exact same. The carpet beetle pictures I've seen has a pattern that looks more splotchy but this bug has distinct solid color lines.

For context:

It's round, and the size of a black lentil

It's dark brown with tan lines

It doesn't fly but it has wings it uses to flip around when it's on it's back

It has six legs

I only found one on my bed and I haven't seen any shells or eggs anywhere near my bed

Carpet Beetle for sure.
