I found an image of Pisaurina mira that looks similar. The ID below is Jeff's suggestion, and he certainly is more qualified than I am, but it doesn't look like any other mira I've ever seen.

Thanks for the follow-up! I looked through Pisaurina mira and found another image from Tom that looks like my specimen also;

I am a bit hesitant about moving this image to species level without a little more back up but I don't like leaving my images in ID Request too long either. Any suggestions :)

I have also noticed these guys have bad luck with their left rear legs...

I think it's probably safe to move it to family level for now.

It is the rare and legendary 7 legged spider!

Do you have a view of the eye arrangement? My initial guess was Pirata, but the eyes seem a bit too close together, maybe it's the angle?

I would have to say that it does look close...
Sorry but I only got two shots and they were both from the same angle...

This little rare and legendary 7 legged spider was faster than I thought he would be :)
