Merry Christmas Phil, I was looking through the Wagner/Scott Collection and came across a unit tray of beetles that didn't have a family associated with them. So I did a bit of investigating and here you have the elusive Eulichadidae.

We certainly can hope to see them if you make the trip in August (and you are correct in assuming the source of this specimen). I need to look through the odds and ends in my collection to see if I had picked them up in the past. Its not the kind of thing I would have ignored if the opportunity presented itself.
