I can't find anything remotely like it in the Foote and Blanc wing patterns. Does this one look familiar to you?

Turns out, it wasn't in Foote and Blanc anyway. And that's as far as my knowledge goes.

Dennis, if you get a chance, could you look at a friend's fruit fly? (He's Peter Bryant of UCI. Together, we're populating a county website with insects.)

You'll find the picture of Euaresta stigmatica on page 109, fig. 28. On your friend's fly, the Trupanea are all so similar I can't narrow it down further than what's been stated already

Can't believe I missed that wing pattern, then the name too. Duh!
