Ellychnia subsumed under Photinus

Seems like the current practice is to place Ellychnia species under Photinus. For instance, on iNaturalist, Ellychnia corrusca is now Photinus corruscus.
I added a note about this on the Ellychnia corrusca page.
I don't see any references for this change on a quick web search, but I presume it is out there somewhere.
Thoughts from the beetle people?
