Size: ~2.7mm
here's a darker Paratachys. I was going to re-shoot this beetle 'cause I was trying a new optics setup but it didn't work as well as hoped for (usable field too small). But now I can't find the beetle! Regardless, looks like the antenna, which are needed for D&A's first key couplet, would never be found. Never the less, suggestions welcome :)

Paratachys pumilus
is a reasonably good bet based just on photos. Uniformly dark dorsum is characteristic.
