First BG and iNat record for RI. I initially thought it was a bumblebee bouncing awkwardly in the leaf litter. It was not flying well and based on sound and its facial features I was able to determine it was a fly and get the scouts interested in its effective mimicry. Numerous chipmunks within the campsite.
