Fun book, would not consider
Fun book, would not consider for species identifying. Some pictures at Species level. Again no Latin. Good for beginners and learning of general insects in Florida and surround area.

Lovely, but lacks Latin
Illustrates many distinctive Florida Insects. Photos are beautiful. Useful outside of Florida as well, especially in the southeastern US. Unfortunately, no Latin names are included in the text, making it difficult to use as an identification guide.

No Latin
That's my ONLY complaint about this book as well. The Internets is the next tool I go to after books, in order to cross-reference Latin, etc.
Come visit us at the homestead. All are welcome!
