Hi Charley,
Wanted to confirm your ID. This is Cuterebra fontinella fontinella, a subspecies which uses primarily white-footed mice, Peromyscus leucopus as its host. The white hairs on the last tergite (rear)in combination with the white chin, dark legs, and dark back helps to ID this as one of only a handful of bots in MA. Thanks for posting.
