I found this guy buried in the dirt while pulling grass in a flower bed.

I found a similar one last fall, see here. I am keeping it in a plastic cup half buried in the ground and covered by muslin fabric (actually old stocking). I hope to see the moth and figure out the species from there. I hope that you do the same.
