Not sure since the spots that are supposed to be along the edge of the wings are so light or don't even exist.

It's a male Orange

Thanks Tony,
for all the help with the butterflies!

Possibly
Species Colias philodice - Clouded Sulphur. See here for info.

Clouded Sulphur
This is a Clouded Sulphur.

Oops...
This could be Colias philodice or Colias eurytheme, both vary a lot. Did it have any orange above? If so than it is C. eurytheme, if not than it is C. philodice.

Couded?
Where is the clouded part? The black speckling seems to also be missing. You seem so sure....ID hints?

To make matters worse the two
To make matters worse the two mentioned above will hybridize. The best ID hint is to see what color it flashes upon flying. If it was orange above then it's the alfalfa or orange sulphur. If it flashes all yellow, it's the clouded sulpher.
