Metophthalmus trux Fall - Metophthalmus trux

Metophthalmus trux Fall - Metophthalmus trux
nr. Ojito Wilderness, Sandoval County, New Mexico, USA
January 7, 2009
Size: 1.4 mm
More from the packrat nest. These differ from M. septemstriat*us with only 6 rows of punctures on elytra. (see Andrews, 1976, Coll Bull 30(1),37-56.) I have only found M. trux in Neotoma nests. They were previously known from CA, TX, and OK.
