Metophthalmus trux

Metophthalmus trux
nr. Ojito Wilderness, Sandoval County, New Mexico, USA
January 7, 2009
Size: 1.4 mm
Every M trux that I find has a decoration of white wax like this one. I clean this off with organic solvents and hand work. Andrews describes different wax patterns for some species.
