nymph - Boisea

nymph - Boisea
Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, USA
July 12, 2005

In Colorado, probably Eastern Boxelder Bug,
but best to see photos of adults to be more sure.

I used to call all the ones in the Rockies in Colorado and Utah "Western" by default, but then I actually started looking at them - they are all, or at least mostly, "Eastern".

I kind'a think they are all one species anyway, but that's just a hunch, and a taxonomic question.

Boisea?
I'm betting this is a nymph of one of the boxelder bugs in the genus Boisea, so am moving it to that guide page.

Boisea
Looks good, just like a couple other nymphs on these pages. Thanks Eric.
