Dragonfly naiad - Progomphus obscurus

Dragonfly naiad - Progomphus obscurus
Turners Falls, Massachusetts, USA
September 8, 2007
Size: 25 mm
Just curious if a family ID might be possible.

This naiad was making its way back to the water after finding itself on land when a canal was drained.

Thanks Bob!

This is
Common Sanddragon - Progomphus obscurus

Going to venture a guess...
since I can't make out many features through the water. This a Gomphidae larva of some kind.
