at UV lights in a small mesic patch under an oak-willow canopy...

Prytanes fuscicornis (Stål)
Moved from Prytanes.

Moved

must be Prytanes
maybe P. intercisa (Barber 1932)

from Merrill Sweet:
"I am calling this species Prytanes fuscicornis (Stål). It is definitely not intercisa, which would be based on using the Florida key. Prytanes is a difficult myodochine genus much in need of a revision, and I think it represents two genera, at least."

Took my first grad ento course from Dr. Sweet ....
Great to get his help. Mike

nice rhyparochrimid, Mike
pls be patient: we'll try to figure them all out in foreseeable future
