not have you for dinner...just give you a hug! Looks like a crab spider by the way he's trying to hug you, but I'll let one of the Spidey experts give you a better answer.

 
Yes, crab spider
likely in the genus Xysticus. But nowhere near 9.75 cm! Possibly 9.75mm. Actual spider measurements are given for only the head and body, front to back, for future contributions. Nice!
