Moved
Moved from Fishing Spiders.

Moved
Moved from Spiders. Ok, so these are tough. They look very close to wolf spiders based on eye arrangement. However, we've been placing them (with this pattern and coloring, and juvenile look) in Dolomedes based on an image that I am assuming was ID'd by Jeff (though no note was left). I think we're just going to have to be consistent, and if we find out we're wrong then at least they will all be together.

Thanks!
I had kind of forgotten about these :)

Are Fishing Spiders found at distances of 1/2 mile or greater from bodies of water?

I found one once
next to a school on the sidewalk. I had no idea what it might be doing there.

I'm leaning on an immature Dolomedes over Lycosid.

Resembles this one:

Our first thought is Dolomedes
but wait to see what Lynette says

Eyes.
Eye arrangement looks more like a lycosid to me....
