Cryptocephalus cribripennis J. L. LeConte 1880
cribripennis (L). 'sieve-wing' (1)

Size

Length: 4.8 to 6.2 mm (2)

Identification

elytra yellow, with very large distant black punctures. (3)
The elytral punctures are largest and sparsest in cribripennis LeConte; in most species, the punctures are distinctly smaller and denser. (2)

w. to se. TX / n. Mex. - Map (4)(5)(6), most common along the TX coast
The 64 specimens in the USNM examined by White (1968) are from southern Texas. (2)
