Identification
All forms macropterous, micropterous, or brachypterous; forewing with Rs+M vein tubular, or at least as a stub; forewing with Rs&M vein angled; clypeus projecting backward onto frons; tarsal claws strongly curved.(3)
Parasitoids of Lepidoptera caterpillars feeding in concealed situations e.g. leaf rollers, case bearers or stem borers; if exposed caterpillars are targeted they are then stung and dragged by the female to a concealed situation such as a crevice(4)
