Colorful Butterfly - Agraulis incarnata

Colorful Butterfly - Agraulis incarnata
PALMETTO, MANATEE County, Florida, USA
October 9, 2008
Size: 2 inches
Nice looking butterfly I took in our front yard last October in the afternoon. Would like to know what kind it is.

fritillary?
To me this looks like Agraulis vanillae, the Gulf Fritillary, but I'm more of a moth person than a butterfly person so I can't say this with complete certainty.

I would agree
