Chin?
Important diagnostic features for larval Chironomidae are found on the bottom of the head. A picture from below would be helpful. As close as you can get. Antenna structure is also useful.

When I was photographing this, I didn't know what it was and had no idea what detail was needed for identification. It's in alcohol now, and I didn't get a photo of the chin.
