I hope this is not already the first of the conenose bugs. We had scores of them last year in the patio area where our dogs sleep.

I share your disappointment...
...and after seeing this post I went ahead and posted a pic of my own to ID Request (see
here
) of what is probably an even tinier, younger nymph than the one you've shown here. Just thought you might be interested, considering we seem to be in the same unhappy situation...
