Ceratonyx satanaria? - Ceratonyx satanaria

Ceratonyx satanaria? - Ceratonyx satanaria
Pickens County, Georgia, USA
February 27, 2009
Size: est. wingpan 36 mm.
I've had a hard time finding a match for this one. I couldn't find it in Covell's guide. I looked through a lot of images on MPG, BugGuide and elsewhere online, and the only moth that looked close was Ceratonyx satanaria or permagnaria.
Apparently, permagnaria is western or southwestern and satanaria is eastern. According to measurements on MPG, it's size is closer to C. satanaria.
On the website Georgia Lepidoptera, Dr. James Adams lists a Georgia specimen for C. satanaria, but not for permagnaria.
I'm just an amateur and could be way off, but I wanted to make a guess.
I would appreciate any comments on the ID of this moth.
