based on 'Atomariinae of Atlantic Canada'(1), curtula Casey 1900 is a junior syn. of A. lewisi Rtt., so i'm a bit confused... well, a lot ))

where did you find that again please? I didn't see it in the article I linked. The "full text" link in what you cited appears to go to vol 31 vs vol 35. (And I couldn't find anything in that vol either)
