At first I thought this was a wolf spider. But on second thought, is it a nursery web spider? ID would be appreciated.

Tinus peregrinus
After reviewing B.J. Kaston's book How To Know The Spiders, I'd say Lynette was spot-on with her suggestion of Tinus peregrinus. The head and abdomenal markings of your specimen are an almost perfect match for the T. peregrinus species key that is found in Kaston's guide.

I wonder what Tinus pereginus looks like? This site aces.nmsu.edu lists D. gertschi, D. Triton, and Tinus pereginus in the family Pisauridae.
