Moved
Moved from Beetles.

nice and disctint beast, not yet in the guide (Cercopeus?)
i tried and failed to key it out, but we'll get it IDed eventually

i quote Robert Anderson's e-mail:
"Yes, it's Cercopeus. I don't know the species offhand but I can compare with the collection when I'm back from vacation."

now i quote Charles O'Brien's e-mail:
Cercopeus sp. [I have 35 new species of these from the South and cannot ID the specimens easily]

Weevil?
Where should this live for now? Curculionidae?

might as well sit in ID Request: Dr Anderson will hopefully render his final verdict shortly

Wow...
Thanks V and John. I have found a lot of new things for the guide in this relatively small area over the last year or so.
