Size: Body length about 12 mm
This female was seen in Culp Valley, elevation about 3000 ft. It looks like she is ovipositing in grass. She has a long neck and terminal style. Possibly Efferia sp?

Efferia inflata female;
identifiable by coloration and by tubercules at base of ovipositor. Males would have very broad (globose) genitalia. Nice shot!
