Larvae of this species feed o
Larvae of this species feed on Achillea millefolium (Yarrow). I have found a pupa on the leaves of the host but this image confirms that larvae pupate on other plants as well. The larvae are borers and spend the winters in the roots but feed in the leaf axils and developing flower clusters in the spring.
