I think it's an Augochloropsis

Thanks once again
Thank you for the link Dr. Ascher. After reading that and doing some research I found that the yellow flower is Partridge Pea, Chamaecrista fasciculata, and that Bombus impatiens and Augochloropsis metallica are the two bees most commonly found nectaring on it.

I admit there were portions of the paper where I only understand every fourth word but I can't imagine anything more specific to my interest and location. Thank you!
