I agree with Dennis on the species. Image checked as "Adult" in order to appear when browsing adults only, and moved to new Guide page which has more info and links etc.

This looks like Emarginea percara Hodges# 9718. I just don't know if it's range extends that far west.

I found an Arizona site that lists that species but the picture is of a long dead moth taken in yellow light with not much other color.

Yes, I've seen the site. But it isn't the lighting. This and many other green insects (unless they're iridescent) lose their color over time and turn yellow. These little guys up to the big Luna moths do the same thing.
