Neanura - Sensillanura barberi

Neanura - Sensillanura barberi
Norfolk, Virginia, USA
March 15, 2009
Size: ~1.5mm
Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I cropped a piece of another image I had which seems to show the sensillum.

The 'giant' sensillum
typical for Sensillanura is not in focus. But a trace of the strongly curved sensillum can be seen at the upper margin of the subapical part of the antenna. Two more apical other smaller sensilla can be recognised, also.
While normal setae have a tapering shaft ending in a fine point, sensilla have a cylindrical shaft ending in a blunt way. Many sensilla are curved more than setae.
