Neriene digna? - Neriene digna - male

Neriene digna? - Neriene digna - Male
Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, USA
March 17, 2009
Size: 4.5 mm
My wife found this adult male linyphiid on our door when she got home... Appears to be a Neriene male, and I found an adult female N. digna nearby last year.

Moved from Neriene.

From Rod Crawford:
This does look like N. digna. I'd have to look up whether there are
similar species in California. And now, having done so, I find that
Steve Lew's online list has only N.digna, litigiosa and radiata in CA.
Clearly not litigiosa or radiata, so...

The CA spider list might be a good resource for some of your users:

Thanks -
Lynette and Rod! I also got a confirmation from RJ Adams on the Can. Arach. Forum. Moving to species page.
