This has a nearly identical barcode to the two paratypes of borealis with good sequences, USNM ENT 01236420 and USNM ENT 01236417.

BOLD:AAB9775 now contains 10 alleged species suggesting limited value in determining Salebriaria species.

From the Salebriaria roseopunctella description examples should exhibit dark brown forewings and an indistinct antemedial line followed by a pale spot suffused with pale brownish red.

...on apparently knowing which moths are best candidates to submit for the DNA process :D

I have tried to be selective about what to submit. Not always successful with way too many duplications of some 'common' moths. However, some of those show what looks to be a regional variation. A few of those have been tagged at BOLD as possible different species. I have been sending in every micro that cannot be easily identified. That resulted in the range of Salabriaria species.
