Size: 8-9 mm
Anthrax irroratus seems to the only thing that matches closely, and it does seem to be quite variable in the exact pattern of spotting on the wings. Probably hilltopping.

Hi, Joel,
I'm in the process of concentrating the western irroratus-like photos that may be cintalpa, irroratus, or oedipus (at least if from the Texas Gulf coast).
Idea actually came from Ken Schneider, & I think it'll help unclutter the unidentified Anthrax.

This is either A. irroratus or A. cintalpa, but they aren't easily separable from photos.
