NOT a fly-bee mimic - Microbembex monodonta

NOT a fly-bee mimic - Microbembex monodonta
Lake Placid - Archbold Biological Station, Highlands County, Florida, USA
December 26, 2008
This is the only shot of this bee mimic I was able to get and it is heavily cropped. I don't know if it is enough to make an ID or not.

Thanks!
I am laughing at myself because I thought I was learning to spot bee and wasp mimics pretty well, and here my bee mimic fly is the real thing!

Microbembex monodonta (FL)
