Scentless Plant Bug in California - Arhyssus scutatus

Scentless Plant Bug in California - Arhyssus scutatus
Webb Canyon, ~2000 ft. altitude, Los Angeles County, California, USA
March 15, 2009
Size: 7 mm
I have been finding these guys around my house for the last several months. I am leaning towards Rhopalidae (possibly genus Arhyssus), but I am aware of how tricky Rhopalids can be, so I could really use an expert opinion to settle the matter.

I have a few other shots and can also provide large, full-resolution images if that is helpful in making an ID. Thanks!

Mixed oak & chaparral habitat.

Moved from Arhyssus.

seconded, Arhyssus
