Swallowtail - Papilio cresphontes

Swallowtail - Papilio cresphontes
Barton Creek, Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
March 24, 2009
The eggs is probably a Two-tailed Swallowtail (Papilio multicaudatus).

It was collected by Nan Wilson and Dan Hardy on Wafer Ash (Ptelea trifoliata) in the Barton Creek Greenbelt near the Camp Craft Road entrance.

On Wafer Ash
(family Rutaceae), it's almost certainly going to be a Giant Swallowtial.

Moved from Papilio.
