Apologies for the poor image, it can be frassed after ID. I know I've seen these things in the guide before, but I can't quite put my finger on it... psocoptera maybe?

Cerobasis guestfalica
Ed Mockford det. His comment: "Although there are other species of Cerobasis in coastal California, the diagnostic aspects here are relatively pale color and very discrete anchor mark and pair of bars on the head."

Wow, wasn't expecting a species ID with this pic, thanks =v=. As for that sharper dorsal image, I seem to have misplaced this insect... I put it in a jar in my garage which has sense gone missing. Sorry about that.

I still have the guy contained, I can always try to take more images if you think it would help in an ID... is there any particular shot that would be more helpful, or should I try to get a more clear dorsal shot (if it ever stops moving around, that is)?
