Dermestidae larva

Dermestidae larva
Shaker Heights, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA
March 27, 2009
Size: 7mm approx.
Spring is coming here to Cleveland. My son noticed this larva emerging from our floorboards in the livingroom at around 4 p.m. Temperature outside is currently 58 F. I guess it is not a Rove Beetle. It was put with the dermestids...a good reminder to keep specimens safe!
