Flower Longhorn - Lepturobosca chrysocoma

Flower Longhorn - Lepturobosca chrysocoma
Monte Carlo Ridge, north of White Salmon, Klickitat County, Washington, USA
June 30, 2005
Size: ~10mm
We hiked up to Monte Carlo Ridge and one of the many delights there was this "gold bug" mining the nectar from the Yarrow. It looks to us like Tom's but his was in New Hampshire. Could it be the same species? For those of you who are also herp enthusiasts, we enjoyed seeing our first and only Rubber Boa on the way up!
