Tiny female wasp? - Calliephialtes

Tiny female wasp? - Calliephialtes
Dallas, Denton County, Texas, USA
May 31, 2008
Size: about 12mm
The length listed (~12mm) was not counting what I believe is the ovipositor. Beautiful, blue and red colors. She doesn't look like any of the other wasps I've taken photos of around my house.

Moved
Moved from Ichneumon Wasps.

Wow!
HUGE range of size, shape and especially color. I found this image as the closest example to mine. Thanks for the help!
