Size: 2-3mm
I was befriended by this little fella while picking a branch with galls. I tried focusing while on my arm. I finally had to photo on a concrete table, which really emphases its size.

As an added note, the tree I found this nymph on a Bastard White Oak Quercus austrina. Thanks again for your assistance.

Initial Thinking
My first reaction was a nymph one of these



But then I started reading. Do you know if my nymph is coincidental to the gall?
