-E. argentea - Most common in the northeast US & very southeast Canada. One data point in Northern Colorado and one data point in Northwestern Oregon.
-E. californica - Southern CA into southern tip of NV and northern Baja California (4)
-E. coki - Southern ID into western WY and northern UT (4)
-E. formosa - Southern CA north to BC and east to Wyoming (range excludes most of Nevada)
-E. funebris - Northeastern US & southeastern Canada south to FL & west to LA. One data point in northwestern ND.

Some species seem to specialize in preying on ants. Also take other small insects and spiders.

Remarks
A terrestrial theridiid that does not build a web, but captures prey in the same manner as web building theridiids by initially throwing viscid silk to pin their prey, and then continue wrapping.
